But I've recently seen some reality TV show previews that have left me a little confused. Seriously what the hell reality TV, you are getting a little bit carried away, I mean not EVERYTHING should be turned into a reality show:
- On the Fly, Airline employees must think on their feet as they cope with weather delays, irate passengers, and more surprising situations - a TV show about airports?! What? I get that part of the appeal to reality TV is the audiences ability to relate to the show, but who wants to relive the airport experience if they don't have a vacation on the other side?
- Hillbilly Hand fishing, Join hosts Skipper Bivins and Trent Jackson as they teach everyday folks how to catch massive catfish with their hands and feet! - Oh perfect! I've always wished I could catch a fish with my feet...
- Barter Kings, When it comes to bartering, anything can happen, and these guys can't get enough! - my sister has tried to convince me that this show is amazing... But I'm sorry, a show that resembles a garage sale does NOT sound like a good time to me...
- Craft Wars, Get your glue guns ready! Hosted by Tori Spelling - don't you have like 4 kids and 4 other TV shows on the go Tori Spelling?
I should mention, I haven't actually seen any of these shows (other than the previews) but I some how don't think I'm missing very much... Has anyone else seen any of these crazy shows? Or are there other ridiculous additions that should be added to my list?
I as well am a huge reality TV show fan and up until recently I thought that TV stations would have figured out everything that they could do reality TV on. I was wrong apparently. A&E can make a reality TV show out of anything. Storage Wars?!?! One of the greatest shows I have ever seen. Another one of my favourites is Pawn Kings on the History Channel. I can watch that show all day everyday and by the end I am crying with laughter. America has taken the most stereotypical people they could find and turned them into a TV show. Prime example is Duck Dynasty which is about a family that runs a duck call fabrication business. They live in Louisiana and are the stereotypical "Rednecks" of America. I do love reality and I can't help my guilty pleasure. Thanks for the blog. I will probably however be watching Barter Kings and Craft Wars. Gotta love Tori Spelling.
