The Hemsworth Brothers

I don’t know if it is just me, but one thing that I have been noticing is that the Hemsworth brothers are slowly taking over Hollywood. When its not the beautiful and majestic Thor... Err... I mean Chris Hemsworth, then it is Liam Hemsworth. The Australian natives have not been in Hollywood for a long period of time, yet everyone already knows who they are.

 Chris Hemsworth first made his big Hollywood debut as George Kirk in the 2009 Star Trek, but he gained fame from his role as Thor, God of Thunder. His next big film was The Avengers, where he reprises his beloved role as Thor, to fight along side other Marvel comic super heroes. His most recent role was playing The Huntsman a spin on the classic childhood fairytale, Snow White. 

Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky (you may recognize her from the Fast Five movie as Elena Neves) just had their first baby girl, India Rose Hemsworth. Oh, and here is something you should try... Go pull up a clip of Chris Hemsworth talking, and close you eyes and listen to his deep, manly and beautiful voice. It’s magical. It really is.

Liam Hemsworth, the younger brother however, is only NOW slowly starting to gain fame. His breakout role is probably Gale, from The Hunger Games. Prior to his success in The Hunger Games film, he was in the movie, The Last Song, with his girlfriend fiance, Miley Cyrus. 

The two met on the set of their movie, and had an on and off relationship, which led to their engagement. It happened only recently actually, May 31, 2012. Liam Hemsworth is only 22, and the former Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus is only 20! That’s crazy! Before the 6’4” Aussie’s role as Gale, he was known, but it was mostly as just ‘Miley Cyrus’ hot boyfriend.’ He now has tons of movies lined up for him, including the rest of The Hunger Games trilogy!

Oh and... I forgot... They also have an older brother... Luke Hemsworth. Yeah, I have no idea who this guy is... Haha. He has done TV series in Australia, but not in Hollywood. I think it is the most awkward thing ever seeing the three of them in pictures together. Sure, Luke also bears the resemblance to his brothers (stunning blue eyes and sandy blonde hair), but other than that its kind of hard to believe at first glance that they are related.

Both Liam and Chris are GIANTS. Liam stands at 6’4” and Chris is 6’3, not literal giants, but very tall. Luke on the other hand I have no idea, but they also don’t like that much alike. Liam and Chris are almost cookie cutter images of one another. With Luke you really have to sit down and observe the three of them in pictures.


It's kind of awkward....
